January 2019 marked another fantastic Midwinter retreat! At a new location, seven Waco-area churches gathered for worship, fun, and to retreat from the demands that teenagers (and adults!) face daily.
Our theme was “Witness” and we considered how witnessing what God has done for us empowers us to witness to the good gifts God has given — even when those good gifts come in spite of what we do.
Working with these local youth ministers from so many different churches, and experiencing this weekend with my students, is one of my favorite things I get to do at as youth minister.
Below, you’ll find some select photos, a link to the full photo album from the weekend, and worship guides, sermon videos, small group material, and more so you can see what we did during our times of worship and our times of recreation.
