Seeing Strange Ads?

While I have nothing against WordPress making some money through ads, some of these ads are repetitive, intrusive, and sometimes even grotesque. And I, unfortunately, have no control over them or their placement.

Therefore, I want to let you know you have the safe and legal option to download uBlock adblocker.

My site appears completely normally, and without ads, when uBlock is activated.

This ad blocker can also be turned on and off, so you can support other websites you frequent which use advertising in a non-intrusive way.

My apologies if these ads cause any inconvenience!

Truett banquet. Friday. Brunch Saturday. Tonight (to come) Youth Progressive dinner. Full weekend!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Walking into Theology class, I'm tired. But thankful.
Families, students, parents, and friends of 7th and James Baptist Church Youth Ministry (JAMES GANG)! Orders are open for anyone at 7th who wants one at a discounted rate of $10.00 each. If you would like to order one contact me or see the t-shirt order tab on the document linked at the end of this post. Final order will need to be turned in soon, so please don't deliberate too long. These shirts are general youth ministry shirts and not tied to any event so they'll be in style a long time. The folks at Hole in the Roof here in Waco did an amazing job designing them! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_RqTC6HOwF8s76WqVhxqbv5IjJPnt88PHlu2mNxmclI/edit?usp=sharing
Kendall hosted her first regular program as resident chaplain of Collins Hall: Hometown Highlights. This is where folks can share the things that make their hometown special. She shared her grandmother's spicy chocolate chip cookies, we played a recording of a UK Wildcats game with some background bluegrass music, and engaged in some friendly competition to give folks a taste of Kentucky! Next time, a resident will share the things they love about their home town. It was great to host residents in our apartment and get to know some of them! Kendall's doing so many great things as resident chaplain. It's wonderful to witness. So stop by our place sometime!
People have been asking me all day how excited I was that Fleming Rutledge is here at Truett. The answer: VERY. And rightly so!
